Armoured Casemates
Three Views is a series of art installations looking out to the entrance of Sydney Harbour and set in a series of hidden military chambers never before open to the public.
The project features newly commissioned place-based installation artworks by acclaimed First Nations artists Karla Dickens, Jason Wing and Blak Douglas.
The Armoured Casemates are managed by National Parks & Wildlife Services NSW
ACCESS
The Armoured Casemates at Georges Head are only partially wheelchair accessible due to the historic nature of the battery site. There is a ramp that leads to the entrance and the first chamber is fully accessible. The other two chambers for artworks are not accessible by wheelchair. Please wear sensible walking shoes due to rough terrain.
Getting There
Parking Paid parking is available on Chowder Bay Road in parking bays opposite the site.
Public transport Catch the 244 bus from Wynyard to Chowder Bay. The Armoured Casemates is a short 300 metre walk from the Bus Stop at Chowder Bay (end of Chowder Bay Road).
