City Recital Hall

City Recital Hall is a world class performance space located in the heart of Sydney CBD, just off Martin Place. Purpose built for superb quality of sound and elegant design, the venue has been used by Sydney Festival in recent years to present contemporary and acoustic performances.

ACCESS
ENTRY AND PARKING
City Recital Hall has level access entry via Pitt St, leading to the ground foyer lobby. There is a lift in the other main entrance on Ash St. Two public elevators run directly from the car park beneath the building to the foyers at every level. Elevators are accessible from one hour prior to the performance.

INSIDE THE VENUE
Accessible seating is available throughout the venue. Dedicated wheelchair positions are located on all levels of the auditorium. The standard number of seats available for people in wheelchairs is five places, however, should we still have availability in a suitable area we can accommodate additional wheelchair seating.

City Recital Hall has two courtesy wheelchairs available for use.

The distance from the middle of the stage to the centre of the rows listed below is as follows:

- Level 1, Row AA: 5.6 metres
- Level 1, Row G: 16 metres
- Level 1, Row P: 24.7 metres
- Level 2, Row Q: 26.9 metres
- Level 2, Row U: 29.4 metres
- Level 3, Row V: 32.9 metres
- Level 3, Row Z: 35.3 metres


ASSISTANCE ANIMALS
Accredited assistance animals are permitted into the venue. Please be ready to present proof of accreditation upon request by venue management.

EASY READ SIGNAGE
There is easy read signage throughout City Recital Hall. Signage includes internationally recognised symbols and braille.

ASSISTED LISTENING DEVICES
Patrons using hearing aids can access the hearing induction loop available in the auditorium. To utilise the loop, please switch your hearing aid to the "T" position. Please note that seats 51-54 in every row are not serviced by the induction loop.
Getting There

TRAIN
The closest train stations are Wynyard (four minute walk) and Martin Place (six minute walk).

BUS
Most city buses stop near Martin Place on George St, or the surrounding streets of City Recital Hall.

FERRY
City Recital Hall is a 15 minute walk from the main Ferry terminal at Circular Quay.

PARKING
