The Coal Loader, Waverton

The Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability (The Coal Loader) is the face of sustainability at North Sydney Council. Located on the Waverton waterfront, The Coal Loader is a place to relax, be inspired, grab a coffee or lunch, and learn. It hosts a wide range of programs, workshops, and events, and is a location people can visit to be inspired to make change for sustainability in their lives.

Getting There

Taking public transport is easy and sustainable as Waverton Station is an easy six-minute walk. There are bike racks at the Balls Head Drive entrance. If driving is the only option, there is limited four-hour parking on Balls Head drive.
