Sydney Harbour

Ferrython, the annual Australia Day celebration, sees our beloved ferries go head-to-head, racing from Circular Quay to Shark Island and back to the finishing post under Sydney Harbour Bridge.

There are plenty of great viewing points all around the Harbour, including Circular Quay, The Rocks, Mrs Macquarie's Chair, Milson's Point and McMahon's Point. Pack a picnic, gather on the foreshore and cheer on our ferries as they get fast and furious.

Accessibility

ACCESS

Circular Quay train and ferry terminals are wheelchair accessible with ramps and lifts available.

There are a number of accessible toilets at Circular Quay Station, ferry terminal, and at East and West Circular Quay.

Most of the Harbour surrounding area is flat. Circular Quay, near the Opera House and Mrs Macquarie's Chair are the best vantage points for people with mobility or wheelchair access needs.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Catch a train, bus or ferry to Circular Quay.

TAXI
The closest taxi rank is located on the CBD side of Circular Quay Station.

PARKING
Wilson Parking operates at Sydney Opera House near Circular Quay.
