The Future is Floating is the result of an ongoing collaboration and artist exchange between Australian and Canadian artists whose work explores occupation, activism, listening and diaspora in complex, evolving ways. Come aboard the Mari Nawi ship for an exploration of the water as an imaginative space, and experience works in progress from participating artists.
The Floating Sessions will feature experimental soundscapes, animated discussions, presentations and performances whilst sampling Australian Indigenous bushtucker.
Featuring: Cheryl L'Hirondelle (CAN); Jeneen Frei Njootli (CAN); James Nguyen (AUS); and Keg De Souza (AUS)
